Personal Injury: Motorhome backs into plaintiff causing a partial tear of his meniscus. 
Details: A jury in Santa Cruz County awarded Caputo's client $122,500 in a case where Allstate offered $8,000 and never once moved from its initial offer in the case (total judgment after costs and interest will be over $150k).  It took the Jury just 40 minutes to conclude that Allstate was trying to evade personal responsibility in the case by arguing that the knee injury that required surgery was more than just "a bruise and a pre-existing condition".

Details: In representing a disabled wheelchair rider injured by the negligence of the Valley Transportation Agency, Caputo challenged the wheelchair securement policy of the transit agency and won critical lifetime medical care for his client.
